OpenIV had a special place in my heart, it's ultimately the best tool you will have seen in the GTA IV era.
In the past 24 hours; Force, Menyooo and Lexicon have been hit with cease and desist letters and all have stopped their services.
They are slowly working through people, modders and distributors.
Let's keep it civil.

"Take-Two's actions were not specifically targeting single player mods. Unfortunately OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody. We are working to figure out how we can continue to support the creative community without negatively impacting our players."

The community is causing a pretty good shit storm about this, all of Take Two's games are being nuked with negative reviews, as well as the steam discussions.
theres a petition on change.org about, almost 40,000 signatures, rockstar-games-save-openiv

"N" word menu site is still up but because OpenIV is shutting down any menu that uses OpenVI no longer works.
The price of money drops looks like it will go up now if only a few coders keep their menu private and not leak it they can charge whatever they want for money drops and recovery.
Good thing is I managed to get a ton of money and never got reset yet so I'll have enough money to get my by.

If you wanna protest the best way to do so is by not playing or buying any games they release the problem is while people are upset now they will get over it in a few days and everything will go back to normal people will still play the game only a few sites will have cheats mainly aimbots
It's a shame what's happening to modding
here is the issue with Take 2 shutting down mods, they shut down a single player mod community claiming they were harrassing people online, In thier own statement they fuck up and told open 4 to shut down a single player only ( single how is there online? ) i mean seriously does take 2 and R* have a brain the steam community put R* inot very negative.
Let me just clear something up here take 2 statement was clearly fucked up and they used wrong words open iv wasn't shut down cause of online hacking that part was clearly wrong but bit that was right is that open iv does break though their game security and that is how ppl are getting information that they should not have like new DLC stuff that ppl are leaking that is main reason why it was shut down cause of content leakers 2nd of all using open iv to mod offline is not illegal only part that is illegal is distribution of it meaning ppl that already have it can still use it they can still making YouTube videos of game play with mods in obviously 3rd party company that handles R* social media completely fucked up and ppl that have listened to stupid gta5 youtubers have made it worse than it really is
