Read information from a CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) application (LOL)
A software architect at Riot said that the new client is made using the CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) (I cant post links, so I can't give you the post), meaning that the new client is like a browser with HTML/JS inside and C++ for binding and communication.
The thing is: I want to create an application to know when the user is on champion select and get the current selected champion, I tried to search for strings with Cheat Engine but without success.
The question: How can I read information from application like that?
Also reading the article it says that the client communicates using a RESTful API but I have no idea how to intercept that communication in order to know when the user selected a champion.
Is there anyone to help me with that?
What exe do you target? I believe CEF runs as seperate executable next to the game.

These are the processes that the CEF open for League of Legends, Cheat Engine by default attach to LeagueClientUx.exe;
CEF it's just a framework don't worry for that, i'm not playing leage of legends but you need find the main game process, anyway if they are together in one you can do hax without problems...

regards.

I think it's hard unless you reverse it and understand the laying protocol CEF uses in order to bind HTML and C++, but I might guess that somewhere in the memory there must be some kind of data space reserved in order to store some information (ie current document text)
