Bitcoin mining?
Me and my friend are thinking of investing in bitcoin mining because we heard its profitable. What is your opinion on it and what is the best place to start? Thanks in advance for all the replies.

Fuck these kids. It's not too late. When is it ever too late? You can still make money off bitcoin. Once you get experience, you can try and research other currencies to mine. Know the market, do your research, and you'll be fine.

Everyone saying it's kinda late and that is partially false and partially true. It is true in that you will make very little (like maybe a couple hundred dollars per year per card you use, and we're talking high end cards) compared to the past where it was a lot easier to mine and therefore earn more bitcoin (bitcoin becomes harder and harder to mine over time). However like I said, it's false to say it's late since you DO still make a little bit of money in profit.
unless you have tens of thousands of dollars to put down on asic miners, as well as counting for electricity and other computer parts, it's not worth it

1 miner will put you in massive debt.
Just start a fucking scam business until you end up with a few ten thousand dollars in the bank. Then maybe, just maybe if you wait a bit longer you'll be able to capitalize off ecurren

I've looked into it. It's a historical repeat.
Technology will approve, and when it does then you mine. the miners from a few years ago capitalized off the incoming bang. Now we have to wait until we start having random people mining. Without a doubt mining can make sustain you in life, but you're going to have to absolutely capitalize the fuck out of it especially if you're poor. Else you'll be up shit creek without a paddle.

Not saying the random pleb can't start his mining on his own. But the delusion of "I'ma run 1 gaming PC to mine btc" is fucking idiotic and probably costing hundreds of rich ignorant parents thousands of dollars.
ASIC miners destroyed bitcoin, you're better off getting mining with graphic cards or investing in crypto currencies.
It's hard to make any money now. Bitcoin mining needs tons of money.
If you got free electricity and like 10k or more to invest go ahead, if not its a waste of time and money.
