uber ban

I'm wondering if it is possible to just change the number and open a new account. I got my account banned for "suspicious activity" although I think the few
uber gift cards I bought were carded.

How many promotions did you have? How many did you use inall?

First, of all call/email Uber asking for help and why your account was banned.

Second, never stack more then 2 cards at a time if its a completely new account. Take it slow.

Third, creating a new account does require a valid credit card and phone number. If you put a VOIP number Uber will not allow the order to go through, but you can always download a burner phone app and I believe some offer free trials. Or use a friends phone number.

Fourth, if you can't do any of this use a friends account. Theres many alternatives.

I used a $95 gift card on my account of 2 years.
I contacted uber after having my account disabled and was told it was due to a unauthorized purchase associated with my account and then I found out it was actually the card I applied being flagged as fraudulent.

At the time of the ban I had like 20 $20 free rides, and before that I probably spent a combined $1,500 on Uber Eats & Uber rides.

I emailed them and asked for the reason of the ban and they simply said I'm permanently banned for abusing the promotion system.

That's when you need to tell them you didn't do anything wrong and such. Be the victim.

Ask to talk to the manager.

I did but they still wont allow me to use the gc though

i feel like a good excuse would be like if you go to college or high school, and you had all your friends open new accounts with your code. And be like sorry for introducing new customers to them

Did they tell you you couldn't use the gift card balance anymore before?
Was the gift card credits still visible in your payment method
