Profiting from refunded macbook pro
Anyone who's ever resold a refunded mbp, how much profit did you make at the end?
Easily 1000+ profit depending on mac but either way 100% profit if you got the refund.

Any profit is good. I recommend selling on eBay or Craigslist.
Never sell it as new, always say slightly used. I’ve found that you can normally get 70-80% of retail.

why is that? people prefer slightly used on ebay instead of new?

Likely so ebay doesn't get suspicious you have a brand new MBP that you want to sell.

At least, if you sell too many of the same item new, eBay will limit you
Some people get suspicious why a new device is sold at a discount with no receipt. A like new device at a discount make perfect sense.

This is why you list something as an auction, so that the bidders determine the price.
i sell mine to a guy abroad and we cut out ebay entirely and craigslist is a joke if you live in an area that isn't rich or nyc lol

Might have been a legit buyer, since people start with zero feedback. Good work being extra careful though.
yeah i get that but to make the account the same day to talk to me? and to ask for the receipt? very suspicious.
