Is all refund dead or just electronics?

As stated in title. I know for Apple devices they can track you down and have proof. Maybe other phones as well and tablets/laptops, since you connect to wifi. Or if you just sell the phone/tablet/laptop right after refunding it, what do they have proof of? Other than that, how are companies/carriers able to proof that you are committing fraud and not just genuinely having a problem with your order? I mean if you are consistently refunding the same stores to the same address that's a different problem.

Nah refunding will still thrive, people are just taking precautions, especially those who operates a service. Like you said, they can't really "prove" that you didn't receive the item or w.e happened with that order. Just be smart about it and don't do a shit ton of refunds in one month. Personally I'm going to stick to partials for clothing and not deal with the not arrived method and get the carrier involved.

Refunding's not dead, the amateur's just packed up because they're gullible to fear mongering shit posts xd

Retard, people packed up because its not worth sitting in prison for 10 years over 10%? Some kids in 2017 are total bricks, shocking. And yes, they can track down your public VPN, yes they can crack your public software calling device if they need to.

So really, its just not smart to have public threads about refunding? That dosent mean refunding is dead.

I really do think people are taking your other post as more of a "its dead gtfo or your gonna be arrested" rather than just a warning to take precautions.

I definitely understand what you are saying, but my question is, how do they prove that the item I am trying to refund is actually received? Just proving that the person who is calling is someone other than the original buyer can't get anyone arrested, as I could just say my English sucks or I am on vacation and I asked a friend to resolve the issue for me? Unless a refunder is using the same VPN address/calling software for way too many refunds I guess.

For partials, do they never suspect? And usually how many items do you say is missing? like For example, if I order 8 items, can I say 7 were missing? I mean if they weight the package, then I'd have to be more cautious, but not sure if most companies look at the weight of the package.
