Windows VPS - Final Steps
Well I'm just about all set up.
I've got a decent Windows VPS all squared away. All the files are uploaded. /server/server.cfg has been set to my VPS IP. Xampp and heidisql are behaving as normal.
I've created the inbound rule on the VPS firewall to allow access.
I'm still getting the "failed to load Eng" error when I run the SWF from my laptop.
After hours of searching through threads I saw it simplified to:
1. Go to your server source and change the IP address to your VPS address.
2. Download the needed programs on the VPS
3. Compress the file (you dont have to, but it takes longer) and copy paste onto the VPS. Extract it.
4. Go to Advanced Firewall and Create a new inbound rule that will allow all ports.
5. Start up your server like how you usually do it.
There has to be something I'm missing. Trying to run ygoda from the remote desktop of my VPS to check the client returns several ygoda related errors and multiplying dialogue boxes forcing me to force the program closed. What am I missing here?
