What kind of "cool shit" are you trying to make? Python is a versatile language that can be used to accomplish a lot of different things.

Good choice on Python though, it is a good language for a beginner to learn programming concepts IMO.

Could you learn to code by creating easy games on unity? Or is that a waste of time?
