Hello peeps. I'm confused as to why I barely ever get quest notifiers for the important events. Very rarely do I ever see hermits, pentatracts, LOTL, skull shrines, ghost ships and cube gods.

What's weird about that is I literally do every event that pops up just so that I can get those to spawn but they never appear on my quest notifier in-game unless I happen to be really lucky once in a while. Does anyone have an actual explanation for this or is it RNG based and I keep getting the short end of the stick 80% of the time?

Its not rng most of the time there is only 1 boss per time. Its because as soon as new realm opens clans go in and clear all the bosses. Plus there is so many bosses now, that chances for each one is smaller. And lastly there are bosses that need big groups to be defeated like oryx statue, that dont get cleared for hours sometimes so no new bosses spawn.

quest log doesn't update to the priority boss until you teleport.

next time oryx announces something, try teleporting to a random player. it will refresh your quest hud with the most important event currently spawned.

Another suggested thing would be to switch to fresh realms, which seem to spawn events much more frequently than ones have have 75-85 players.

Thanks for the replies it's been 5x better since oryx statue went away the other day. After reading wiki for like 3 hours I found out that to make events spawn and appear on the map, you have to do realm events like ents, cyclops gods, etc. And you will usually see the quest portrait change a lot faster if you do those events and make them spawn compared to farming in Glands and seeing the spawn text from Oryx.

If you kill an Ent and another is close by, it will block whatever event spawned unless you teleport to someone closer to the event.

The secret of farming events today on rotmg is go to a fresh realm and do the quests like ents, ghosts, cyclops and etc, and after doing the events that will spawn close the realm and repeat it all day

I believe i read about this on an official post, only players within 20 tiles iirc can see the quest, each tile would be like one screen? not sure if it was exactly 20 maybe 40 but thats it, only if you're near to it youll be able to see it if so, once i was looking for landlord and couldnt see it as a quest even it wind up being in front of me and pretty much soloed it in a full realm
