[TuT]ToolTips - How To
Okay hey guys, I'm going to tell you how to use ToolTips! Once you add it to any control, if you hover your mouse over it, you'll see a pop-up message. The ToolTip Component is added to the Component Tray, e.g where Timers go, thus it becomes accessible to all other controls. A component is a reusable class that can interact with other controls, so once you add it, all other objects in your form have access to it, and can use new instances of it.
After you add this handy component to your form, click on the ToolTipIcon property's drop down arrow, and select one of the options.
Under that is the ToolTipTitle property. Change it to something like "Please Note:".
Click the object you want to display the message, e.g Button1.
In the properties window, find "ToolTip on Button1/Whatever it is" and put in your message that you would like to display.
