Does NewEgg always do this?

I also got an email they charged $2, is this for authentication or something cause usually they just do one charge for the ammount.

Never seen a site charging that much...call their support and ask what's going on

That's the price of the item if you mean the 219, it did like 4 verification checks though. The 2 dollars didn't even show on my pay pal I guess its like VCC verification where they just take it and add it back?

I don't know much about newegg but I would simply call them

Holy sh#t those are some ridiculous charges

O.o So dont refund newegg?

I had newegg do a charge for like $2 on a debit card and I had to give them the random number on the charge to prove I owned it (it was a large purchase)

I have had newegg deny my paypal all the time for no reason, Newegg refuses my PP. Call there support they will probably cancel the pp charges and tell you to pay via visa, mastercard etc

Dam Newegg is really screwing you. Imagine if you didn't have that balance and overcharged.

Seems like an "oddly" money-hungry company.
