Unfortunately, you are out of luck. Paypal will not assume any responsibility and will not refund you your monies in this case. However, if you paid with a credit card, you can contact your financial institution and have them get the money back for you. Going this route will mean that you are claiming that an unauthorized transaction took place and that you knew nothing of it. Once refunded from your financial institution Paypal will receive a negative amount on your account. They will then limit your account, suspend it, its up to them. They will insist that you call them or they will have to call you. It's a very annoying process to go through but this is the only way to obtain your funds back. Best of luck to you.
