Microsoft UK help

So i noticed someone mention an update to the PP method where you start an investigation with microsoft direct and obtain a reference number, then cancel with them and provide the reference number on the paypal case and win the case when they dont reply.

Now i did microsoft last year and they just didnt reply on pp, is this new bit about a reference number needed? would they reply to the claim if i dont get the investigation reference number?

Get the reference number and u dont need to cancel the claim. Input the claim number into paypal and you should be good to go.
