OT: I made a thread and so did a few others, it wasn't quite dbz/avatar the last airbender tier of trash, but it definitely wasn't good.

Death Note is one of the best anime I saw. Movies are not so good but still can watch them without problems.

But if you like Death Note then maybe you should see Bakuman as I hear its about authors of DN and how they started their adventure with manga

Does turning an anime into a movie even add anything? It just makes it "look more real" and nothing else. Everything else that can be added is just original narratives and philosophies, and it is pretty hard to add anything narrative or philosophically to such a good 1 season (there are no other seasons for Death Note I swear).
