Two SAO Projects Green Lighted

Teaser & Key Visual for Sword Art Online Project Alicization

Sword Art Online Alternative - Gun Gale Online Teaser

Two new series will be in the works shortly. The first being the next arc of SAO known as Project Alicization. If you've watched the SAO movie, it was stated at the end that the series will continue. In fact, the last scene in the movie basically leads up to the next arc if you kept along with the light novels. The next anime will be a spin off of the Gun Game Online arc. The characters in this series will be completely different and new from the SAO universe. During the second season of SAO, they decided to make a series of light novels and manga dedicated towards GGO. Seems like they are making a series for these.

have to go to work...will look later

Really liked the first 2/3 (or so) of the first season. The actual trapped on VR arc was a great concept and well excecuted, though I feel it all died once they got out of the entrapment (still watched the rest, wasn't bad just not as good). Hopefully these new two projects could really reinvigorate the series. I'm optimistic!
