VHL is pretty good.
It has a low cool down time for its skills which means its my goto for bot soloing (since if I just put 4,3,2,2,3,2,2,3,2,2,4 on the skill manager it works just like if you were soloing manually. No time is wasted on any skills).
It does a pretty good amount of damage when you use the 3rd skill (which is meant for high survivability and damage against almost ALL monsters) and it is almost unkillable with the 1st skill (which is meant for soloing the top tier bosses like ultra alteon, binky, undead raxgore, or ultra primarch who do damages in the thousands normally).
It is also good at PvP and PvE because of how hard it is to kill it too. But nobody does PvP anymore so whatevs.

It definitely is better than LDK.
Although k0rey (a aqw youtuber) did say that apparently than on average lightcaster is faster than VHL at soloing 600k+ health bosses so I guess that is a thing to consider for VHL's overall rank (although you shouldn't really trust k0rey. Maybe search up any other sources that say Lightcaster is faster at soloing than VHL?).
As for tips. Go hard or go home. Botting stuff like that or AFDL forces you to constantly check your botting program until you get something then switch it to another thing to bot (Essentially a routine of switching while botting).
Back then I used lebot. Since we now have Grimoire which has a plethora of things like if-statements, relogin-checking, skill delays, buyback, etc if you can use them YOU SHOULD. They make YOUR EXPERIENCE much easier. Less time is wasted. You don't have to constantly check. Overall, it becomes much more bearable to bot (especially if you're good enough to make bots that can be combined with one another using the "merge" option on Grimoire so that you bot just about everything you need. Although that is extremely hard, especially with nulgath items)
