For education purposes I am looking to add functionality to an existing music downloader which support has been dropped for, I have tried to do it, but it seems to be beyond my capability. I don't think for someone who knows what they are doing, it is to harder a job.

Plan is to add a mechanism in to only try to download new releases or missing items automatically for added artists,

It uses a mixture of HTML, js, etc.
