[Tut]GoodBye World

ok today IM going to make a short simple tut on good bye world also known as hello wrold I am not going to tell you how to get buttons or any toolbox item so figure that part on your own cuz its easy

get 1 button and a textbox
double click button 1 an type

msgbox "goodbye world + textbox1.text"

then your done

Credits for what? This is the easiest thing you can do in VB.

Edit: He forgot the brackets for msgbox. Fail. and yes, pointless TUT.
Btw, you can't force NextGen to marry you. You'd have to force him to sign a divorce paper then marry you first.

the message:

goodbye world + textbox1.text

Look:

Msgbox("Good bye " & Textbox1.text)

bleh...

There is no way that code works for you, it is 100% impossible in the VB language for this

msgbox "goodbye world + textbox1.text"
[/php]

to function the way your tut says it would

it should be

[php]
msgbox "goodbye world" & " " & textbox1.text
[/php]

If it is just this

[php]
msgbox "goodbye world + textbox1.text"
[/php]

then the message box will read everything in quotes.

making it "GoodBye World + TextBox1.Text"

But what about the brackets?
It should be
[php]MsgBox("GoodBye World" & TextBox1.Text")[/php]
And NextGen, you don't have to put it like this:
[php]MsgBox("GoodBye World" & ""& TextBox1.Text)[/php]
you don't need the "", you can just put a space after world like so:
[php]MsgBox("GoodBye World " & TextBox1.Text)[/php]

Right?
