Hi,

I had an account hide my ass [VPN] then I downloanded the software Hide My Ass and I clicked on protect my ip something like that I didn't know wtf it does so I uninstall it, now I cant even play onlines games but I can surf on internet plz help.

Could be your anti-virus. happened to me, try deleting anti-virus and restart PC.

I only have windows defender as a anti-virus

So you've already uninstalled the VPN?

Delete the VPN I guess???

tried turning it off and on? usually works.

If not try de-installing the VPN itself or going into your anti-virus settings.

usually solves things if n0t pour water over it and replace it saying my dog's neighbor did it or sumthing idk be creative

Windows Defender can be disabled in settings. (can also be enabled again after so dw)

Windows 10:
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security.
Select Windows Defender, then turn Real-time protection on or off.

Windows 7:
Press the Windows + Q key on the keyboard to bring up the charms search.
Type “Windows Defender” in the search box and then press enter.
Click Settings and make sure there is a checkmark on Turn on real-time protection recommend.

try the System Restore Function?
If the above suggestion won't work, then you might need to reinstall your OS

Solution :

CMD ipconfig/release > when it stops type ipconfig/renew.
