How to start game hacking?

I don't mean memory editing, the real thing.

I want to know how to do things like packet editing, reverse-engineering and stuff, I need a good place to start. No leads from Google. Prefer to make all the apps myself and not use many third-party apps, like I know there are already packet capture tools out there, I want to make one, how would I go about that?

I started by simply using some bog standard game hacking apps... then I started decompiling apps and editing some stuff.

But if you really want to learn how to mod apps and make cheat mod APKs, you will probably first want to do some Android app development in Android Studio. If you dont know the basics, you will be completely lost.

So really if you want to hack Android games, you have to learn Android development first.
