Throughout life there is always going to be people trying to lead you in the direction they think is best, whether that be parents/guardians or even friends/peers, but at the end of the day you've got to choose for yourself.
This scene from Avatar the last airbender, one of my favorite shows growing up, really gives me chills, and it proposes a good question to ask yourself.
