Recently got a Nintendo Switch

Yesterday I got a Nintendo Switch. I was really hesitant at buying it. I looked into it for a few hours before deciding to just go for it. After I played it for a good while I realized it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be but I do still have my own gripes.

No Virtual Console
No Web Browser

Now these aren't exactly a deal breaker for me as I have my Android phone for both things, so it's all cool.

As for the online I didn't have difficulty adding friends or playing. I was told you have to have some app to queue up in Splatoon 2 but I don't own that game.

The games I ended up buying

Super Mario Odyssey
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

I may pick up BOTW, and the Fire Emblem Warriors.

What are your guy's thoughts on the swtich? What games do you guys play on it?

I’m interested in buying one as well. Was it worth the money to you?

Did you manage to get any eshop cards or accs?

I'm not sure if it is considered a revival of necropost, but I would say that Switch is a very unique console. I have it myself and I really love it. Of course the original plan was to just play Legend Of Zelda BOTW and believe me never have I enjoyed so much as this game. Sad there were not much left of the motion controls, but god damn that game was fine. I still didn't finish it because it just pains me too much knowing that it will end soon. So, I most likely wont finish it until a new zelda game comes out xD Oh, and I played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, 1,2 Switch, Mario Odyssey. All of these games are fun and exciting, so even if the console it self lacks in networking. The games are incredibly fun.

I personally would call necroposting when someone comments on a thread after a month or 2 soo you're good

Zelda BOTW was worth it, I bought nintendo switch for mario oddysey, endup playing BOTW non stop

Honestly the switch wasn't really worth it in my opinion. Then again I don't really play nintendo games to much. I still play my n64 daily though

How long has the Switch been around?

I've also been on the fence about getting one, I've been on the borderline of it being too much money for what it's worth.

I just seen one on my local craigslist for 200 dollars. whats the going rate for a switch second hand? Ive been considering swooping one.

I modded my switch so emulation and playing backups are possible. No online though. Check out Xecuter SX Pro
