Hi,
I guess some of you noticed, that our new EAC bypass is 'fixed'.
Now, I would like to find out, how they did it and how to 'exploit' that again.
What I want to do is finding a new way to completely block EAC / Ingame file checks. Is there anyone here, who has plan to do that, to join and help developing one?
P.S.: Please DO NOT SPAM this thread, this thread is for people who find ways of exploits ONLY.
Greetings,
Livux
EDIT: I think I might found out how they do that with the kickings.
They updated EAC on each client (they can, they dont have to update the whole game via Steam), implementing a request for clients.
When you join a game, the killer hosts the game. If the killer has the new updated EAC, the client of the killer will automatically check, if the players (clients) has the new EAC installed. If not, the host game (EAC) will automatically kick the player out.
If you are host, the same happens with the client. The client checks, if the host has the newest EAC. If not, you instantly leave.
I dont have this problem, maybe because I have blocked DeadByDaylight.exe for outgoing connections in windows firewall.
@jackglow: No, definitely not. I tried it.
The thing is: If you block EAC, you will get kicked out of the lobbies, and as killer the survivors exit all the time.

My AV doesn't want to let me find ways to play with edited files.
Add an exception to it.

Kaspersky is a shitty AV, he doesn't let me go in system32. I'm just disabled it. Found only these IP's which get connected by game:
