I would definitely suggest the iPhone X, but I'm an Apple fanboy when it comes to phones so take that as you will
Depends on what phone you have now. Once you have used an iPhone it becomes hard to move to a different phone as all of your app data etc is saved to your iTunes/cloud account.

Iphone 8 iphone x is just bad and expensive idk why would anyone with a brain want to spend 999$ on a phone when they can get oneplus3t and its almost same good and iphone 7 is outdated (or will be outdated)
I currently own the first Pixel, definitely a good phone to buy
if the boring design of Pixel won't bother you it would be a good option to go on a powerful phone like that one and i think it's abit cheaper too

iPhone X is pretty overpriced. If money doens't matter I would get iPhone X if it does I would choose Google Pixel 2.
