why use skype?

im really wondering as to why most sellers use Skype? Skype is old and clunky and the amount of impostors that big sellers on here have is insane. dscord would be allot better for keeping track of scammers,rep and impostors and not only that but you can even create separate text chat lobbies for stuff like a list of the products you are selling with prices, support, rep, and etc. another big advantage would be that you can just post your dscord server invitation link on your post and this would prevent from impostors scamming people. any one else agree?

I agree, but I think that skype always worked for them and they don't want the trouble of moving..

Almost everyone is using skype. ******* is not noob friendly tbh

back 6-10 years ago skype was the main and only big player in the market for commuinciation other then social media which was still new and obvs people did not want to use that for discussing this sort of thing, back then skype was OG, since then they gone down wrong paths and now not as good and made wrong choices, however there is so many competitors its hard to be able to tell everyone go use this, ******* in my opinion looks confusing and this is why most are using skype cause most users of this forum is not that tech savvy, they just want cheap netflix ect,

I think the only way that skype will die is if forum moderators/owners decide there going to implement a rule where if you use skype for communication then you will not receive suppourt in scam reports, this sort of message would change it for sure

or even better telegram

Same reason everyone uses PayPal, learning curve. Now more people are going to bitcoin, but still a lot of people only take CuckPal, etc.
