Where do you sell Macs?
Thinking of getting a high end Macbook and flipping it for some cash.

Where are some good places to sell them? I don't really care about fees and such.

Craigslist is an option for me. Don't really feel like meeting IRL though.

eBay sketches me out b/c of the scam buyers there. It may happen, IDK...
Craigslist/Ebay are the main ones. But you could try Reddit /r/hardwareswap or one of the many phone apps you can sell stuff on. I feel you on the scammers I sold a maxed out mackbook and the dude tried to scam me but messed up and i ended up winning after like a month and a half with paypal.
Facebook Marketplace, Swappa, Craigslist -- all had success. If you're worried about meeting local you can meetup in the police station lobby, or the Hospital ER lobby. Both these places are 24/7 with outlets, security cameras, and people.

GLWS!
There are apps called as LetGo and OfferUp where you can sell it online. Beware, many times buyers offer to pay via Venmo - dont fall for that - its a scam.
Just sell it IRL. Get money in hand and be sure the guy gets it and doesn't bitch out saying "didn't get it!"
What do you use as an excuse though? Like it's a brand new macbook. In my opinion it's hard af to make something believable. Saying it as a gift is not that easy as no one would gift you a 4k laptop and if you say you bought it then they may ask for POP. Any suggestions?

I put mine on craigslist, got 10+ offers in the first couple days.
3.7k Laptop, sold for 2,525.
Just said theres no return on the item, therefore they cant bring it in and get the original price.
And no receipt.
But we met up and I helped set it up to prove its legit.
Don't think people really care unless it isnt real.

That’s really smart actually, and you do make a shit ton off of that. Thanks for the reply man
Becareful and suggestion to sell it to non-friends/family good luck!
Try selling locally
Question,

For a MacBook or an iPhone. If you refund em right and you sell it locally. Can’t they just contact Apple or so and see where it was originally delivered and if it was refunded? Even if it’s not right away. Eventually they are able to see that if they have any issues with it right?

No one actually thinks about refunding. Only people who know about refunding wonder if a product was refunded or not.
Not a normal person in real life would think that someone had a product refunded because most of them dont know something like this even exists.

That is true, just wondering about phones for example if they google the IMEI number or if they go online and check the apple warranty right. Would it say out of warranty or so? Like what would it say exactly?
