Gamestop Replacement Question

When they say they will send a replacement, do they email you about it? How long does it take? I've heard about lazy reps.

they took long, about 7 business days. holidays.

They 99% won't email you about sending a replacement. Neither will they email you about refund.

I very recently did a refund from them. But the rep messed up and sent a replacement instead. They don't email about it. It took about 12 business days for replacement to arrive. I think it is taking longer than usual because of holiday season.
