could i use chaet engine for getting renown and buying ops?

It was possible, but this was patched on December 5th with the Blood Orchid update. You can still do it, however you will get about 30 renown per completed game, meaning it will take 800 games of Thunt for one operator á 25,000 renown. Not worth it.
