🙁 Looking for permission to post a Currency Exchange thread
I already spoke to Hova about this, and he said that even if an exception were to be made, it wouldn't be over Skype, and so he suggested I make this thread here.
I read the rules of the Currency Exchange sub-forum concerning new threads, and there's a 250 posts requirement.
Now, I do see the logic behind it; you've made these rules in order to minimize any potential scamming attempts made by new users, making their lives a little harder. However, in my case, I think the circumstances are completely different and so I'd like to request permission to post a new thread there.
I already run a service thread that makes a minimum of $35 per transaction (if not hundreds, depends on the order). Keep in mind that most of my customers are returning customers, meaning that once they come back (and most of them do, and not just once or twice), they obviously don't post again (nor do I ask them to).
I've been trusted with hundreds (and even a thousand+) of dollars in advance in the past, and clearly, the lack of complaints in my thread prove it. Not only that, but unlike past sellers from the same genre (who promise delivery within 24-72 hours or up to a week during busy times, after having accepted the payment already), I literally refuse to accept payments too far in advance from my customers. I only charge them if I know that I can deliver the goods within seconds.
My thread proves that I've already been 'tested' and I've proven to be good to go. I don't think that me spamming ~170 extra messages like a little kid, just to reach that minimum post count, would make me look anymore legit that I have already proven to be. That's why I think that in my case, given the circumstences, this rule is completely obsolete, pointless and irrelevant.
Thanks in advance!
