Miners vs Gamers GPU Prices

Do you support miners, gamers, or neither?


- I own crypto currency and i no longer mine, i am into pc building now and because of miners gpu prices are up.

A Lot/Most Of PC builders hate miners because these PC builders blame them for inflated gpu prices. Some of these PC builders have been waiting a long time to save up money for a graphics card and now they can't get it because the prices or inflated and they feel very upset/mad/sad and they blame miners for that.

- I think that it is ok to reason that miners are the reason why GPU prices are up. But it really makes me CRINGE when These PC Builders ( I am building a pc myself and i agree prices are high) Vent/Blame Miners for GPU. When I go on youtube a lot of people say shit like "Fuck these miners". I Think these people are dumb.... (spoiler just say's they're dumb but in an aggressive way lol. Like wtf is there reasoning/logic, it's the people's money and they can do what they want to do. What even makes it their right anyways? It's just business.

Blaming Miners for inflated prices in gpu is like how some american people blame black/immigrant people that they took their jobs OR how a person blames the devil for their misfortunes. I feel like the correlation is that people just needs someone to blame because they are feeling mad/sad and it makes them feel better.

TLTR: I Don't have a side. Whatever happens...happens, i just think it's dumb for gamers to hate miners. -

I don't actually understand why mining is being blamed, all the numbers I see while looking into mining show me that GPU based mining is not as profitable as these ASIC miners. Whenever I ask why people are blaming mining they either refer me to another person or just accuse me of supporting ruining gaming for everyone.

i personally blame AMD and Nvidia for not supplying the extra demand thus driving the prices up (good for them)

The whole crypto currency is just a hype , people often think that it's a "get rich fast" method because of stories on how some people got super rich thanks to bitcoin inflation. Soon people will realize that the whole thing isn't reliable and will sell it their GPUs for less than half the price.

I'm not hating on cryptocurrency though

Crypto is just a big hype seriously... Since people see DIY mining videos, they tend to spend much more on GPU's if they have the chance. Therefore GPU prices are high.. If you needed 1 Nokia 3310 in order to mine 0.1btc/week, people would've get 100 of them, and prices would skyrocket from 50$ to 500$ easily too... It's just high demand in the companys point of view..

i hate people that sell miner gpus cuz they could treat them bad
