60 second survivor timeout
So I am playing as a survivor and I wanted to try using Sergey_26rus 's Dead by Daylight Chams to have some fun. It requires first, the 1.9.0 survivor-only bypass from Pleximon, so I followed those steps as so:
1. Created backup's of all files I would be affecting.
2. Edited my "System32/drivers/etc/hosts" file as administrator and added the text
127.0.0.1 download.eac-cdn.com
127.0.0.1 94.237.80.40
127.0.0.1 94.237.*
127.0.0.1 download-alt.easyanticheat.net
127.0.0.1 104.28.*
127.0.0.1 download.eac-cdn.com
127.0.0.1 94.237.80.40
127.0.0.1 94.237.*
3. Downloaded his EAC Files, extracted and replaced the EAC folder in my steam Dead By Daylight folder.
Here's the issue I encountered: Upon entering a killer's lobby, I had 60 seconds before it would automatically remove me and I had to find a new lobby.
I saw in the comments many others that faced similar problems. Some solved it, some did not, I was one of the latter.
I tried as many of the "solutions" proposed as I could such as:
-Firewall blocking the DBD app
-EAC service blocking
-and deleting the EAC folder from Roaming.
In one game I managed to make it all the way to loading, past the offerings because we all instalocked, but during loading, I was kicked back to my lobby after the usual 60 seconds.
Is there a solution to this problem? A way to NOT get kicked after 60 seconds? or is it a sad life that I must endure trying to find a game?
