Not a bad idea.

Modern, your character isn't one of the units and can respawn inside that base with a cooldown.
3rd person would be better I believe, and you need to be able to jump a lot.
Your character should mainly use meele weapons but there's a limited amount of ranged weapons spread across the map.


Don't know how good you are at making games, but as a beginner this might be a bit much

Make a game like Clash Royale that's pvp with cards that have levels, I find those games quite intriguing and fun to play

funny story is I havent played that game, also i am sure there are dozens of similar games like that?

just gotta watch out that it doesnt get to similar to clash royale if youre gonna make it medieval

i wish there could be more great sci fi stories, as well as movies

making a game alone will take you a very very long time my friend.

You need to manage sound, models, animations, textures, coding and then you need to update it everytime a bug pops up or something yada yada.

But if you want to make a game and ask other people for ideas that already indicates you are rushing things.

Create a simple game with what you know mentally and build up from there
