Steam Help
Hello community,
Im looking to purchase a steam game through G2A, and am wondering if it's possible to purchase the cheap Russian version instead of the more expensive USA version? The specific game is Ark: Survival Evolved, and I live in the United States. Thanks in advance for your help!

Warning! This product is region locked and CAN be activated and played in the following countries: Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Bear in mind that after buying this product as a GIFT you will not be able to add it to your inventory.
Use VPN? //2short//
Use a VPN to activate it, games from Asia are cheap!
If it's a gift, than he can't activate it unless he has a billing address attached to the account from the specific country. If it's a key than yeah he can activate it using a VPN.

If it's not a new account and you have made a purchase with it (added steam funds or anything such while your billing address is in USA) then you can still activate the game using VPN but you will need the VPN running to play in multiplayer.

If the account is new and there have been no purchases made from a specific billing address, then use a VPN to activate it , then close the vpn and you will be able to play without it running.

This is the truth. If someone tells you something different he simply doesn't know what he is talking about.
According to the SSA you are not allowed to use VPN softwares on Steam for any reason.
Be Careful.
Works great with a vpn, you won't have any problems
Just use a VPN to activate it and I'm pretty sure you can just play without the VPN
i highly suggest you to buy on green man gaming , g2a or even humble bundle because you can't play russian games when youre in the US unless you run an vpn all day
Common / Public method that i use:

1. Make brand new steam account

2. Once it's made, Exit steam.

3. Put VPN on & return to steam

4. Activate code.

5. And then you can turn VPN off with steam open & boom you got your game

DONE

*You can buy the code without a vpn*
There are lots of methods of getting games online. Just do some research and you'll be fine!
You can use a VPN, although there's a chance they'll suspend your account if they find out you redeemed a game only for a specific region.
