I bought an iPhone 6 and it was supposed to be unlocked but ended up being locked and Idk what carrier is it and I can't return it so I have to unlock it,

Theres sites that let you input the imei and it let's you know what carrier it is I believe
Now i did a small research to help you out, there are sites that unlocks for you if you post your imei number / details of the phone / etc. You have to pay like 10-20$ to make your phone unlocked. But these are from 2016-2017, I don't know if it still works now. I suggest you watch those youtube videos on how to unlock your phone

Your research is so poor(no offense), you can literally get an unlock code for 1-3$ on eBay depending on which carrier it's locked to. You can also unlock it free with other methods but I haven't seen a legit method.

I had the same issue with Iphone 6 I bought like 5 months ago. The first owner bought it in Orange salon and it was locked so I had to go to Orange office paid like 15$ and they unlocked it.

If the phone is from tmobile / sprint, unlock is not $1-3. It's way more expensive.
