That's a good build, 6 core cpu isn't overkill if there's any plans to upgrade it in the future which might be a possibility.

I feel like he should get better parts and refund it. I doubt his brother is going to upgrade as much as he should. I know i wouldn't.

why not refund a gtx 1080

When I got my new PC these are my specs. At the time it was like.... 1100 euros? Or something. Ram prices have spiked to fuck though.

CPU: Intel core i7 6700k (At the time flagship aka highest possible)
GPU: GTX 1060 (Defo should go for a 1070 if you want high end gaming, My PC currently runs basicly anygame but for VR and stuff 1070+ defo reccomended)
RAM: 16 GB (Anykind will do since prices are fucking insane rn)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Ranger
Storage: 1x 256GB SSD (For windows) 1x 2TB HDD WD Blue
Case: NZXT H440 (NZXT makes sick cases Doesnt have to be this one obviously but its nice !)
PW: 550W Corsair RM550X (Get a power supply that is atleast 550W+ depending on CPU/GPU and gold+ Effeciency)

This is my build, But... Stuff like the CPU can be swapped for something else (I would reccomend getting a K version cpu so you can overclock in the future)

AGAIN, this is my build I would perse reccomend it but this was a decent build for a gaming/streaming setup back... 1-1.5 years ago :P

I'll go for a full modular PSU. And a i5 8600k. What's your budget ?

Buy 16GB of ram if you can afford it. 8GB kinda buns

I have a 1070ti and a better processor and i didn't/don't reach 300fps @1080p

I had simple 1050 and Intel i3-7100 and I was reaching 250-300+ fps..

in surf servers? I get 200fps on low settings at 1920x1080(in 5v5s), and in full servers i get like 150. Stop lying to people kid. Didn't your mommy teach you its not good to lie?

It might have been the ventilation , yours might have been to overheated idfk I just tell my experience.
