What WiFi adapter do I need?

I need to get a WiFi adapter for a computer I will be building, as an ethernet cable is absolutely not an option.

I don't know how to choose one.

My router is a NETGEAR N600 Model: C3700

The router is directly on the other side of the room the computer will be in, but I can not drill through the wall.

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't think it matters what wifi adapter you need, any of them should work.

Use a powerline adapter, they're cheap and works much better. Basically plug the adapter to the wall socket in the room where you have the router. Plug the other adapter to the wall plug where your computer is. You have "wired" ethernet. Not as good as wired, but definitely better than wifi.

Yeah and than a lightning strikes the house and it fires the adapter and he can get an otherone. Just get any wifi adapter to your PC.

I been doing great with the $30 TP Link ones from Amazon. Don't know about the other person if you want to believe him on thunder as I have never had an issue over these years I used power line adapters for my TV and HTPC in the living room. Chances of lightning hitting my house... I don't know I'll take the risk, I might even get superpowers but I guess it depends on where you live

It's still better than paying 50-100$ for an adapter after each ligthning. Most of the times I play with wifi and never really had big problems, just gotta have a good router.

All of them are the same in my opinion but there are fast ones. Just get a random one

the only thing you really need is food, water, oxygen, shelter, a pocket pussy and maybe a dildo. wifi is not required for anything. you do not need one. live like the sages

My cat-like reflexes are so far superior that I still have the advantage, even on WiFi.
