Custom Camos

Hi everyone. How do I make custom camos for weapons? Is there a certain resolution, transparency, or other features that I need to know about? What tool do I use to convert into an iwi file?

This should be in the help section...

Anyway, I would like to know aswell. I want to create some transparent objects and some gun skins.

iwi x dds -> convert .iwi file to .dds

open the .dds with paint.net or w/e

edit

convert back with a dds x iwi converter.

unfortunately since the dds x iwi convert is for cod2/cod4, you need to hex the file.

Don't ask me what exactly to hex.

So you are saying I need to learn to hex edit? lol.

I haz an idea, I'll see what I can do, if there aren't any major hex changes I might know...I'll tell you guys...I'll prolly fail anyways haha

Ok, I figured out how to open the textures (Not telling how).
Now I shall try editing and converting back.

Lol opening them is easy.

Converting them back + hexxing is the thing we need to figure out

Without hexxing you will get a "couldn't load image" error.

Pm me with dds x iwi converters if you know some.

/ ok fail, 10kb between converted/real version. prolly a fail convertor...

Warez does not want to share his method, therefore idk.
