Refunds Using Crypto?
So I recently ran into an issue with a seller from MPGH.. Curious about your guys' take. At the time, the amount I sent was worth $35 as that's how much the product cost, and he couldn't complete the order so he sent me the money back (Exact amount I sent in crypto).... which is now worth $26. What is the consensus on this issue? Do buyers have to suffer price fluctuations of the markets, or is it the seller's responsibility to refund the amount paid, not the exact same amount in crypto?
You are refunded the amount in bitcoin that you sent, not the dollar amount. If you sent 0.005BTC, you will receive back 0.005BTC, regardless of whether the price rose or dropped.
If you are not happy with this, I'd recommend using a more stable payment method in the future such as PayPal.
