😠 eBay Scammers
I've sold some 100% LEGAL and LEGIT software on eBay to 24 people, and one person is claiming that it isn't a real number and I'm "scamming" him. I know for a fact the key I sent him was working, but now I just have to wait for PayPal to make a decision. The problem with that is it is a digital item and apparently everyone that works at eBay and PayPal don't know what digital means.

I've had similar experiences in the past, and PayPal is most likely going to side with the buyer (with no proof). :/

Any ideas?

There is plenty of digital products on eBay. Regardless, it is not an excuse to screw a seller over. Like I've said, I've sold many digital items with no issues, however, this buyer decided he wants to cuck me.

well the buyer will win the dispute against you. you broke ebay policy and you wont win.
Well fact is that you can't proove that something digital worked or that you have delivered, so you are about to loose i would say. I sold some egifts year ago and in fact from 10 orders 2 were fraudlent and i lost every single of them, even tho i learnt how to fight overtime it is just preety impossible to win em
if you can prove your key was valid before you sold it youll be fucked by paypal

dont sell digital items on ebay or thats what will eventually happen to you
You will loose every case if it is a digital item you did not ship. Selling digital products is against paypal/ebay tos. You may want to ship a slip of paper with the code to them with tracking it will slightly help you as they cant claim never received. You can also put that people without 10 or more feedback cannot buy your item. Also 1 out of 24 is pretty good in my experience.
keep money out of PayPal like its plague(it is)

so eBay/PayPal cant get their scummy hands on it

cash>all

paypal ---> card ----> cash

or if you want

paypal -------> second paypal
I've been selling digital and physical items on eBay for a few years now. I'd recommend refunding the buyer and taking the loss so your accounts remain in good standing. They don't give a fuck about you, and you won't win.
damn not sure how to win the case it's a tough one. Maybe look into their feedback see if they've had problems with other sellers too. You can use that to your advantage.
Buyer will get they $$$ back
