untrusted its not mean detected, your friend is big noob

Untrusted bans are cause by either an non-human action or the injector is detected. For the complete list of the different ban types, refer to this:

VAC: The signature of the cheat has been detected and therefore you got banned. Ingame message will be orange.

Gameban (Overwatch): You were too blatant in MM/Wingman, which got you sent to overwatch, and you were convicted. Ingame message will be red.

Untrusted (shows up as VAC on profile later on): Your injector is detected, or you did an inhuman action. Ingame message will be red.

Gameban: You were banned by the game developers, for malicious content, cheating or another infraction against the developers terms of service. Different depends on games.

The last one is usually very rare and applied by Valve itself and I've personally seen it happen only if someone posts a hacking video on YT where their profile is shown and it gains a lot of traction, which makes Valve find the account and give a good old banerino.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I need to ask. About the untrusted bans, do you think its safe? Could you recommend a legit config?

i cant recommended any legit config!
But if v3.1 Injector had a problem, People sended a lot of posts about untrusted ban.

if you get untrusted ban! This is probably due to the wrong trigger and backtracking settings.

Thank you for letting us know about the trigger and backtracking settings being a possible cause of untrusted (Though I've been playing with 12 ticks on the backtracking and 0 delay on the trigger and so far nothing, but I'm turning them down since I dont want a ban)

Use youre own injector less chance of getting banned and great cheat honestly for a paste

i already tested it on aimbotz map , the aimbot is actually working , but its tooooooo slow , how do i fix this , the aimbot is aiming like bots , pls help me !

Untrusted ban doesnt mean the cheat is detected. It means your friend was doing suspicious actions, like aimbot, recoil control, triggerbot. The system automatically flags an account if it is done consistently, which in the end results in an untrusted ban.

EDIT: Didnt know it could mean injector is detected. Well damn
