Ban Wave?

Hello guys. Today i saw that i've got banned on Dead by Daylight. I think it's a ban wave because over 10 friends got banned in the same time. I asked a friend, and he told me that is a ban-wave because "EXPLOITS". I don't know guys, do you have a clue?

Well i guess, there was an actual ban wave, rip everyone who got banned.

Yes, 90% that is it due perks/addons hack. I guess they've made some kind of checker for the saves and gave bans to those, who used it.

I had only Doctor with many perks, but I didn't get a ban. Kind of disappointment, really. I hacked this game for more then 2 years and here I thought I finally got caught. Justice came to my door. Nope. Everything fine, inventory fixed, cant use more then 4 perks, but no ban. Lol.

Me and my friends also got banned, so i guess this is an actual ban wave

I didn't get banned either but I am worried that if i run the game, I will be. Will I be safe if I run dead by daylight with that addon/perk hack that I had?

Perks already disabled once you enter the game. My doctor had many perks and addons stacked up before the update. Once I heard of the banwave, I prepared for the worse, but.. no. Nothing. I freely passed the starting screen, autosave shit and got my main menu. Inventory fixed, perks auto-sorted on default. I dunno why I got sparred, really. Was this a mistake of their system or intended, but I avoided ban wave.

Just a theory, but there may be a way to "stop" the ban?

Assuming the ban is applied by EAC when you launch. For those who have not launched the game yet, shouldn't "all we have to do" is bypass EAC, remove any perks that go past the limit, reinstall EAC, and be fine?

To summarize:
1. Bypass EAC (offline? online?)
2. Take perks down to 4 and addons to 2 (Do it through the in-game or save injector?)
3. Reinstall EAC
4. Hopefully not banned on next launch?

I dunno. Just theorizing.

EAC bypass has been patched as well so that won't be possible at the moment.

A new EAC bypass will hopefully be found in the coming weeks. If the bypass is found, hopefully my theory will work! : (

It won't. Your inventory already fixed, once you enter the game. With bypass or without it, EAC probably detected your cheats through some kind of data, even without you being present in the game right now. If you used many perks, but didn't get a ban, like I am, you will just find all your perks restored to default number of max allowed perks at once. Other perks, not listed among the chosen 4, will be disabled. Not removed, disabled.

Only the free bypass is patched... People need to learn that there are others

Well, I could buy private cheats, but since I am from Russia, I cant do this. The one cheat zekeo using is not allowed to sell to people from my country.

I just want to know if I can safely play legit on a second account despite my main getting an EAC ban. Will they just track my IP and ban my second account? Pls help

Hehehe. It's good that I didn't entry the game last 2 weeks and restored my old save
