What We Know So Far

Post What You Know about rez modding here and please do not spam this thread. This thread will be used to hopefully unlock the full potential of .rez modding.

Files and what they do should be posted like so:

File: Anibase and Ani_.ltb
What it does: Contains animation for Guns
What it can be used for: Swapping this file with the PVMLA_ file of another weapon will cause that weapon to now have the fire rate of the one you swaped it with but the damage, recoil, and accuracy will remain unchanged.

EDIT: This is not simply to inform people about cross modding that IS what we have tutorials for this Thread is supposed to help us find out more about what files do what and hopefully allow us to make mods that effect even more than just rate of fire. For example if one were to find the files that effect recoil we just may have a recoiless g36.

EDIT2: Wow you guys totally misunderstood the point of this thread this thread was made to hopefully get all the information about .rez modding in one place and possibly figure out what other files do like what files control accuracy and recoil in order to make more capable mods

speaking of which: modding wise, i was thinking if you go into your extracted files find the M416 CQB reflex site or anysite for that matter just as long as it's a ''model'' file you could possibly ''i dont know'' hex edit that file and copy and paste it to another gun not delete and paste.. copy and paste it all together. Maybe you'll get a free scope??
