Remember the jungle site "strikes" when people were raping them? Me either. I saw one article about a couple who got charged with $1.2m in fraud but they only got caught cuz their business partner ratted them out when he got busted for a separate crime. And that site is still relatively easy to do. But I'm sure the google strikes are gonna be epic.
Also, you should consider just making "lmfao" as your signature rather than typing it at the end of every single message. It would save you some time.

I agree with you. My point isn't that its gonna go on forever. My point has been that it won't be some epic takedown or strike, it'll be them getting the people who are doing multiple orders to the same address/name etc. It'll be the kids SE stuff to the same address. I agree, they will get caught. My point is that it won't be some strike and it won't be big news. And I think the the dollar value of one order is irrelevant. If its one order, its just as hard to prove it wasn't legitimately lost whether its $10K or $1K. It may be harder to refund the $10K (additional scrutiny, high value claims department etc) but once its done, its not any more risky than the $1K one.
I guess ya'll aren't reading what I'm saying. Google will kill it but it won't be by executing a "strike" or two that scares people in to stopping. Prosecuting the worst offenders will probably help but It'll be through policy changes and carrier procedural changes that really kills it.

People who say Google can't do anything are naive. Just so you guys know, a few years back Amazon refunding was BOOMIN'. Guess what? They hired private investigators and bopped the refunders. You think they care about how much they lose? It's not about that, it's about the message. They basically told refunders if they're gonna fuck with the company, they're gonna pounce on your ass when you least expect it. Did anyone see it coming? Nope. Everyone was too busy thinking they can milk that shit forever. Do you see old Amazon refunders? Nope. There's a good reason why. They either went into hiding or got bopped. And to those who think you're safe just because you're not a refunder, I hope you know that refunders have your information and when you get pressed with charges they will take your computer and then the whole client list will be there for them to see. Don't think I'm speaking out of my ass, I speak from experience and I know people who landed in jail for fraud for Amazon. I've been in the refunding scene on this site since the beginning. There's a lot that some of you don't know, and believe you are invincible. And that's okay. Ignorance is bliss. But just know, greed will you destroy you. Tread lightly. If you wish to stay naive, that's your life. Just remember, they don't need to get to you personally, they just need to get to the refunder. Ask yourself if you think every refunder take precautions to keep your information safe. Chances are, probably not. Also, Google has information on you. More than you think. Look at Facebook, they have information about people that aren't even signed up on Facebook. They literally have information about people that don't even use the site. Google has existed almost since the birth of the internet. They have your information. And they have power. Take that how you will. You won't know when they strike. It won't be public information. Amazon didn't say anything when they swung down the hammer on refunders. So for those who say there are no articles, well no shit. You need journalists to put something out on information they have. How can you have that information if Amazon themselves don't release it. Only those with insider information knows what happened. And even then that information is limited. I know a tidbit of that information, and genuinely, it will scare most of you what powerful companies are capable of.

My worst fear is having google simply blacklist the phones that are refunded. Months down the line, This can/will seriously fuck up every single person lol. Ive done a HUGE amount of google refunds. None over 3.6k to be exact, but still. If google tracks back to all the refunds that were processed by fraudulent cases. And simply blacklist the phones, imagine how much money you'd lose. Having all those charge backs come to you from ebay, It'd honestly be the worst LOGICAL possible idea.

That would honestly be the funniest thing. Google just blacklists phones and watches the karma persist in utter chaos.
I think refunding should only be done every once in a while when you want free shit and not plan on making a living like a lot of these idiots making 5-10k orders, those obviously will get fucked eventually.
refunding itself will always exist as long as delivery couriers cannot take videos or actual proof of deliveries, also there is some real scenarios where your package is actually stolen.
Paying for a fraud department is more expensive then just accepting the occasional loss, also 10k is like pennies for google.
