Ebay rolex.

I've found a nice rolex on ebay.
Seller has very low feedback.
What are my chances if I go for did not arrive, box was empty. or its fake and send a fake one back.
Price is around $5k

Ebay refunding is pretty scummy tbh

scamming small ebay sellers. asshole. you're just a cunt if you chargeback or refund an ebay purchase in general

I wouldn't advise on doing this.

Firstly refunding isn't criticised by many because it's exploiting companies that are criminal in the first place and companies who have insurance policies. This type of refund is going to dramatically affect the seller.

Secondly small sellers will go to great lengths to prove you wrong.

Thirdly for this kind of order the seller will purchase a very good shipping option so it'll be you vs the seller and the shipping company.

This will not end well. Yes i want a rolex too but its nearly impossible to "refund" one or any of that.

the seller will not let you get a rolex for free and due to its name and price, you will get fucked if you attempt any mail fraud to acquire that watch.

Its going to be hell. Although refunding on ebay is easy - its not worth it morally - you're affecting a smaller person whose job depends on this vs a massive chain franchise that scoffs at small losses. Also, jewelry has a lot more protections and is not that easy to swindle.. You're better off doing a couple 5,000 apple orders, flipping then buying a rolex.

If you find a way let me know. either way it will be hell. With ebay your dealing with an individual so either way it would be fucked up and likely to get you fucked because that individual isnt just gonna let $5k and a watch slip away.

apprently before refunding got popular people use to refund rolexs easily from big name sites. (wish i was around for that, id kill to get a real one to wear)

3-4 big refunds can cover it. 3K refunds each from Costco - Apple - Google - Bestbuy
You can buy 8k watch even after you buy refunding services (That being said if you dont have experience refunding big amount)
