[SRSZ] PC randomly restarting

PC randomly restarting

So I've been playing Fortnite for the past few months and everything was good, but in the last week my computer was restarting at random times, most of the time while landing, and once it did that when I already landed.

If anyone can tell me what I can do to fix that I'll really appreciate it.

PC specs:
GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB ram
i5-7500k
Windows 10

Check your computer temperature, GPU, CPU and etc. That might be the cause of shutting down your pc. Or check your hardware health.

Download a program like afterburner and check to make sure your CPU isn't going absurdly high (anything above 80c can cause fail safe restart), and your GPU isn't shutting down due to thermal throttling not being enough (your GPU temps are above 100c)

Else check for Nivida drivers and update them. Run a virus scan, run system file checker for corrupted windows files, or reset your windows via the windows 10 reset feature.

Another possibility is just that fortnight or whatever is designed by filthy plebs, therefor like PUBG it is crashing irregularly. In this case I suggest verifying game cache or reinstalling the game.
