Google Pixel IEMI Cracking

I got an email from Google for an RMA on my Pixel XL2. Someone had ordered a replacement phone using my IEMI to another state across the country. The phone was refunded 3 weeks earlier and the refunder told me that someone on mpgh.com was cracking IEMI's are getting replacement devices. I dont believe that and I believe the refunder used my info again and tried to screw me over. Has anyone heard of people here cracking IEMI's for replacements?

someone just generated imeis and you got unlucky that yours has been used

There's nothing you can do about, firstly it's a free phone and you got now if someone tries exploiting and most likely both of you are going to get screwed
