No lol. Its blocked by networks. If a phone is blacklisted it won't be able to get cellular service because the IMEI is reported as lost/stolen so all carriers block it from connecting.

You think they could be doing this for SE'd pixels too? I boxed google a couple times recently and i sold one of the phones and i don't wanna deal with shit from the guy cause it's blacklisted.

I'm sure that's a possibility. Google is gonna try to stem the tide of losses somehow. I've been saying it'll be policy changes and this would be a very effective policy change to stop people from raping them.

Yeah it's usually a carrier thing but the IMEI can be blacklisted from all North American networks. With a company the size of Google I'm sure they can get that done.
