Instructions:

Use an EAC bypass to run the game without anticheat!
If you run this while EAC is running you WILL be banned!
Start CloudExtract BEFORE running DBD. Only x64 is supported!
Start DBD and go into the main menu, the game will hang as soon as you skip the "Press any key" text.
Switch to the Console window, it will tell you that your savegame
has been dumped to "cloudsave.txt" located in the same folder as the "CloudExtract" exe.
Happily modify your save. Use Notepad or Notepad++!
Press 1 to inject the modified savegame to the Cloud (will be read from cloudsave.txt).

So, my game never crashes, it just brings me right to the menu and the console only says main threat trapped twice, anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Are you starting CE, opening the game, and loading into the game? Make sure you have the latest bypass on.

Hey david i cannot use the cloud extract since windows gives me a pop up that it is a virus and i cant do anything about it?

Use the fucking brain, DISABLE THE ANTIVIRUS.

Yeah I figured it out, I disabled use of steam cloud a while back and forgot about it...... I'm an idiot.

Having the exact same issue, changing data in the updated save editor literally doesn't change anything at all in my current save. I think the cloud extractor is outdated. We're 2.0.1 right now, not 2.0.0. So injecting with edited save isn't working. Also, for the love of god, to all of the people who are talking about it being a trojan. Disable your virus scanners. Every virus scanner is going to read .bat/packet editors as false positives because virus scanner companies are lazy.

How did you get it to work? Everytime I try to inject save it doesn't do anything. I'm using EAC bypass too obviously. But for some reason it's not changing my saved data at all. Not items or anything.

did you use a save editor and did you press 1 after loading the save editor's savefile into the cloud?
