Someone people just can't do it by themselves. If you just tell them "hello, i got empty box, can i get a refund" of course you will fail.

Plus, I believe there is more than "nothing arrived". Especially if they weight out the items.

cause good refunding is usually more than just calling and saying it didnt arrive

also i doubt a normal person does sound very convincing doing that their first time

by that i assume youre in the US, cause here in europe theres lots of stores where that doesnt work

also theres stores where you need other a bit more sophisticated methods

and paying 200$ so that you get a new mac is still extremely cheap compared to paying full 2k$ retail price
especially if youre new to this and dont know much, rather not want to mess up the refund

well you are paying for experience usually, granted you use someone with many positive vouches of course.

Like these guys have said, not everyone has confidence in themselves or maybe they just wanna bypass the work and have someone else do it. It's not a big deal.

some people aren't comfortable or experienced enough to do such a task, nor do they want to learn how to do it if it's a one off

all your doing is calling and saying it never came and you get a full refund instantly

literally never had a problem.

just because it works for you doesnt mean it works for everyone
