This method still works, you just have to use a different application. Try Folder Lock.

Folder lock is detected aswell

been using it fine. Have been exiting the application before battleeye detects it and its been working.


Ill explain how im doing it.

first i load the pak into the game before i start protection

then i exit the File Locker application and start match

then all is well i got the pak in game and battle eye doesnt say unallowed program for file locker because its already exitted before the event is triggered to look at the running programs. Also the file is still hidden after you exit the application so all is well.
I tried same concept for easy file locker but when i exitted efl it would cause pubg to crash hence why i tried it with File Locker

Also I've tried doing the same method with efl but it would only make pubg crash when I exitted efls

I'm trying to use Folder Lock but it keeps saying I can't protect the pak since it's a restricted item. Halp?

maybe something to do with admin perms? try running folder lock as admin.

I've never crashed with my paks and with this method. It could be your pak and maybe settings in your pubg? Do you have character render turned on? if so make sure thats off. I also run my pubg in fullscreen windowed, im not sure if that actually helps but i keep it like that.

I have no idea man. If your steam folder is in program files try moving it into something like 'C:/Steam/' I know for somethings if its in program files it will mess with permission stuff. But if that doesn't work i have no idea man.

So it turns out that even if i leave the application running BE doesn't kick me out. Maybe im using a different application thats called folder lock as well idk. I got it from https://www.newsoftwares.net/folderlock/

So if you got it from a different place try that it might work for you

I guess that's it, had my PUBG on my external drive. Deleted it and now I'm moving it to C:/, probably will solve the problem. Just gotta make sure I have a pak that won't crash, but since they are all from factor, doubt they are the problem.

yeah also be very careful of the pak you use. was using one that got rid of things and it made me unable to see certain objects and let me run through them which is quite obvious. Got banned from my last match :rip: lmao

To be sure i'm not missing any steps. I load up the game till the lobby, I open File Locker and select the pak and hit protection on, and then I close File Locker, right?

Edit: Guess I need different paks, the 2 I use keep giving me corrupted data.
